Kinetic Art by ASCOSWISS

Early in 2015, a monumental machine was developed and built. It was presented in April of that year at the Basel World watch exhibition. Visitors were delighted and amazed by the dimensions (5 x 5 x 5 m).

Already the name “Four-Quadrant – kineticArt” suggests something very special. The visitor is incited to walk in the monumental installation which is five meters tall and listen to the magic of four identical but non-synchronous time devices and to watch the movement of 24 wheels rotating steadily with only the anchor wheels moving regularly with the pendulum………….. for a moment, time is forgotten!

Each of these machines is unique, and models with similar or completely different dimensions can be developed upon request.
